Section 81
A person taking an oath must not express falsehood
(1) A person who has a legal duty to express the truth before an authorized officer or who has taken an oath or a person who has taken an oath in accordance with the law and holds a public office should not express false things in such a capacity.
(2) A person who commits an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to two years or with a fine of up to twenty thousand rupees or with both.
